I've been writing children's fiction off and on for a while, but hadn't got round to making an effort to do it properly and get it published until last year, when I went on a fantastic Arvon course taught by Mark Haddon and James Mayhew. Since then I've been devoting more time to it and am now represented for this work by the literary agency AP Watt.
